The taxi tariff of Antwerpen sets out the way passengers are charged for taxi rides. When you begin a trip in a taxi, there is an initial charge called the base fare. In Antwerpen, the base fare is €5.00. This amount covers the start of your journey.

After the base fare, you are charged for the distance you travel. For every kilometer, the price is €2.40. This price applies no matter how long or short your journey is after the base fare is charged. The distance charge is calculated for each kilometer of your ride.
